New Autumn term approaching…

The Coracle Tuesday Group starts a new season on Tuesday 4th Sept.  This being the first term of the year we will consider our ‘journey in’.  This term’s study and discussions will be aimed at encouraging one another to read and pray with the psalms and, as our starting point, we will be using Eugene Peterson’s book “Answering God”.

Charity Choice online donations facility

We’ve set up an online donations facility on the Charity Choice website to make it easier to make one-off donations to Coracle. Charity Choice provides a completely secure donations facility, accepts all major credit cards, and allows contributors to specify whether Coracle can reclaim tax on donations under the Gift Aid scheme.

You can go direct to our online donations page on Charity Choice or access the facility through our Support page.

Visit to Fife Earthship

On Saturday 9th June we will be heading over to Fife to have a tour of the Fife Earthship.

The Earthship is a passive solar building with thermal mass. This means that it maintains a comfortable living temperature year round.  It is made from natural and recycled materials - predominantly earth-rammed tyres and aluminium cans. It is powered by renewable energy, such as wind, water and solar power.  It catches its own water supply from rainwater, and treats and contains its own sewage in planter beds.

For more information have a look at the Earthship website.

Everyone welcome...we’ll hopefully combine the tour with a walk to make a day of it. Please for more information.

Tuesday Group: Summer Term

During this summer term we will be exploring the ‘Journey Together’.  This term we will be thinking a bit
about what community is and how it might work (or not work!!). We hope it will be useful to think about this in relation to church communities but also other communities we are all part of to varying degrees.
Dates and more info coming soon…
